Reset of my Direct Message List

In my list of direct messages open, I like to go through and remove spammers. Every time I close a message the list jumps to the top of all my Direct Messages. I would like it NOT to do that. Because, every time I close a chat I have to filter through my list to find where i left off.

    Are you doing this on mobile? If yes, do it on desktop. It is much more efficient as you just need to click the small 'x' button next to the DM and it will not move you to the top.
