Find Your Friends pop-up can’t be permanently dismissed
Hello!
I contacted support about this one, and was redirected here, so this is a bit of a repost:
Essentially: When I sign into discord for the first time in a session, or if i’ve been away for a little while and open the app up, I get greeted with the “Find Your Friends!” Pop-up at the bottom of the screen. While it is easy to dismiss ONCE, I can’t tell it to stop showing up, and it greets me nearly every time I check in on my friends.
I’m sure if you follow through and input your phone number it would stop popping up, but I both do not have a phone and don’t really want to hand out more data than I already have done, so instead I just have to wave this thing off. It’s not exceptionally annoying or disruptive, but it’s been every day for over a month that I’ve had to tell it to go away.
Would it be possible to implement a little “please do not show this again” button into the pop-up? It would save really only a handful of finger-swipes, but would really help me retain what sanity I have left.
Cheers!

Adding some images for clarity, this is what it looks like when I open the app, followed by the screen that appears when you go forward with it. Swiping down or hitting “skip for now” just delay the inevitable.

I have the same issue on my Android. The popup will not close if I say yes. I have to navigate away. It goes away if I say no to the update.
On mobile it takes up the entire screen, too, so I cannot do anything with it sitting there.0
