In-House Bot

To Whom This May Concern,

I haven’t thought of how it would work entirely yet but my basic idea would be for discord to make a bot user (named Discord) that would be incorporated into every server as a free option that does all the things 3rd party bots do currently except remove the need to go online and invite said 3rd party bots. This would also decrease the chance of 3rd party scam bots ruining the user experience.

However there could also be a paid addition to this official bot that could be unlocked with a certain amount of server boosts that allows music to be played in voice calls (in response to the shutting down of Rhythm and Groovy amongst others). My reasoning as to why this would be marketable is you could make a deal with YouTube or Spotify that allows the bot to play copyrighted music. Furthermore YouTube could make a commission in some way to align with their interests.

This is just an idea with a couple strategies but Discord could change anything or not use this idea at all.
