Phone Number Multiple Account

problem: have 2 or more accounts

add phone number to your main account

add phone number to your alt account, there are no warning messages or pop up windows that clearly say "you can only add your phone number to one account at a time"

then you get an email for your first account saying "your phone number has been removed from this account" excuse me??? maybe warn me about that BEFORE letting me add it to my alt account???

so you go back to add it to your main account, and is says: cannot add "this phone number was recently used for another account"
EXCUSE ME WHAT THE HECK, YOU COULD HAVE WARNED ME BEFORE I TRIED ALL THIS, BUT THERE WAS ZERO WARNINGS ANYWHERE and now i have to wait an "undetermined amount of time" until i can put my phone number back on my main account.

i already understand that discords reasoning is to prevent abuse. i am not saying they should get rid of this, i am simply saying that if that's how it's going to work, IT NEEDS TO BE CLEARLY COMMUNICATED TO THE USER BEFORRREEEE we add our phone number to any account.
