Hacked Account Information with Billing Information and years worth of Nitro. No support response in over 72 hours.
My account was hacked on the 9th of October. I have been unable to access any of the information regarding my discord anymore. Both my Email and Password have been changed several times. The sad part is I know I got my account hacked too. It was my fault, but I know it’s fixable. I have opened ~6 tickets regarding my account being hacked and seen that discord responses rarely exceeding 48-72 hours. Expecting a response in a timely I felt less stressed about the account. But it’s there, still hacked, and it’s being changed as I speak. 5+ years worth of messages exist on that account, and 300+ friends. I’ve also paid for over 2 years worth of nitro in total. Kind of an addiction if you will. The problem lies here; I have gotten no response in over 3 days. I’ve opened several tickets and some of them were even closed without a single message getting back to me. The best response I got was Clyde Bot getting my hopes up. Something more unique to my situation is that I am aware of some of the emails that were used on my account. Some of the emails that It was changed to was nicebeam8@yahoo.com and nicebeam8opp@yahoo.com. The password was also changed, but I couldn’t see it. The only reason I could see this change was that I was still logged on to the client. 2FA was bypassed and I cant do anything about it. I have since changed all of my passwords. But how? New login location, Email reset, and Password reset was not enough for my discord account to get locked. It’s been days and I see the hacker using my account for his own benefit now. Please help me. My original account name was “Dera#1011” which no longer exists. The hacked account name is “</Honda>#0001.”

These a-holes really dont have a life to hack accounts for some pixels.
My collection consisted of over 7k. I'm still able to stalk the account since i share servers with it. They sure stole a lot from me lol...
The only thing I can hope now is to just get the account back, since I'm using one of my servers as a shop for my art commissions. It just sucks to not have a part of my life in control.
All I'm getting from support is various bot replies which also annoys the hell out of me. Come on, discord

Yes, I have. Up to 3 now, though the first two were not very detailed. However, my most recent one says 'solved' instead of open. I don't know why / what that means. I'm also constantly being told by bots that my e-mail associated with my main should be freed up since its still connected to an account.
I don't know to what account it could be connected. I am writing this ticket with my associated e-mail, weirdly I can login onto support discord, just not this supposed acc (i don't have access to 2fa).

If they're telling you to do that, then create a temporary mail and switch it to that. Then they'll complain that you have to make a ticket using the email the account was tied to before it was changed, and then you can keep switching back and forth until they say it's ok lmao

God this is such a pain in the ass. The management of discord is complete horsecrap. Even when I provide possible solutions or as much details and proof possible, it seems they dont even bother to read it and follow up with impossible instructions.

well reading through all of the conversations i guess i should stop panicking since apparently waiting weeks-months is just normal when it comes to some decently aged discord accounts and that me waiting for the last 4 days is nothing compared.

Through this experience I discovered how messy of a platform Discord is. Forgot to give an update, but I managed to get my account back after two weeks. After numerous bot replies, and various means of trying to proof my identity someone FINALLY replied. Not to mention that I was the one giving THEM instructions/ suggestions to check certain data.
I hope you all get your accounts back asap. Discord needs to fix their shitty staff team and platform.

Hi just yesterday someone hacked into my account and bought 4 nitro basic because there was a card plugged in others didn't make it because it said cancelled and discord support doesn't write back because I must have written too many messages what to do? Because somewhere I saw that it was written that up to 5 days money back.

Rehman did you click a suspicious link? it takes discord two weeks or more to fix hacked accounts but my frrind got lucky and got theirs back in a day, depends how complicated it is

vd4g0n, it'd be best to contact your bank and let them know about the unauthorised payments, and yes try not to open too many tickets or you'll get ignored, it takes a while for discord to respond but make sure you let them know that your card is connected to your account, if possible on your end try to remove your card from discord

Hey guys, from now on im in the same boat with you. I was had mutual server with scammer who stole my account and he said they made a game so wanted me to test it for its cons and pros and so i downloaded it. when i tried install the game then boom! it was kinda keylogger, he tried to access to all of my accounts and all he did was only stealing my discord account because i didn't have 2FA only with that.
he changed my e-mail and password and made a new account with my actual e-mail which is linked with my main account before. now my main e-mail linked with unkown 2FA activated account and i can't nothing to do with it.
that account was 7 years old and has almost 3 years of Nitro payments so can Discord support help me with to get my account back even if is there 2FA activated account if I verify all of my payment history?
I'm so stressed and got anxiety also nervous about my account.

Regarding your final question: yes. When I gave my account away, they linked up their own 2FA on it, so I couldn't login without it.
By writing a well-explained message to discord support to prove the account is yours (such as date & time of purchase) it should help them with the case. I even told them 'I only need you to shut down the 2FA, so I can login myself and secure the account by linking my own 2FA'.
The amount of time I had to wait was aprox. 2 weeks. It really depends per person.
Also, keep a close watch on your support tickets. Don't spam them, because they won't respond faster that way. I personally experienced my tickets being 'solved' by bots. It was really annoying and had to wait until a person responded. If it got 'solved', I simply replied to my own ticket so it would still be 'in process'.

Yes. Even when I couldn't use my e-mail to login on discord, I explained how I couldn't 'free up' the e-mail since the hackers were holding onto it.

I need to understand about one more thing too. Lets assume that they helped me and changed my original e-mail to login my account but I don't know the password because I think scammer shit changed the password too already so how can I login? are they going to send me a link to reset my password?

I have had a similar problem but I don't really care about my account, despite it being 4 years old, but I do hope they get back to me as I had alot of server roles on that account and it would be hard to get it back since I was on discord for 4 years and new accounts mean nothing.

Similar boat. Got tricked into downloading a game by an account that was a close friend that had been hacked. They made it sound like they have a dedicated team for this (Trust and Safety) but does that mean that it's someone's half job to do it or do they actually have a team? :/ 3 days is a long time to respond to a hacked account ticket.

I had the same thing happen.
A close friend I know whose into game development asked me to check out a game for them. How it was sold was a metrovania-dark souls type game
I said sure, asked some questions and felt that it was genuine. (It wasnt) so went to the website, downloaded the file. Ran it through two scanners. Did not pick up anything out of the ordinary. No keylogger, mallard, Trojan or phishing.
So pulled the executable, within a click it crashed my system (red flag 1).I tried to find the exe in my task manager (red flag 2). Then I thought nothing of it and went to play a game..that's when crash 3 happen (OK something is up). Next thing is my discord on my pc and phone were logged out.
I figured out exactly what the attack was, it was a token hijack.
Now did you know you can change the email acct without needing the email associated with it…because had the hacker tried to push into Google It would have triggered a 2fa warning. The A few years ago my Gmail was almost brute forced in so I've taken steps to make sure it couldn't work. I also don't access my Gmail on my PC first. It's on my phone and I didn't access that link on my phone because…it was a game and I assumed it was going to be a few gigs/not optimized for mobile.
So I know that 1) there was no active Gmail token and 2) had to use a crack/work around to change my email only to do a quick Google search and find that discord has a work a round to change emails without needing the previous email. I only say this becsuse the gmail associated with my discord is my primary …it would have and weird to say…made more sense to hijack my gmail acct, then compromise all associated accts with it. I also did not get the associated email with the 5 letter code telling me to imput as to verify the email change. I also went looking for the said email in my trash, couldn't find it. Although I found all the other emails associated with the hacker +his discord info that he was 100% a ghost on.
This guy did email and made a new acct with the Gmail my previous acct was associated with. I only found that out because I thought to try and recover my old acct just in case he was well a bit in a rush. So he was waiting for me to do that and that's annoying.
My biggest gripe is Discord itself. While it is a bit of user error. Discord should have in place a system that once an acct is labeled as “hacked” it disables and boots the hacker off the compromised acct. The hacker shouldn't have no more than a few hours if not less to try to push. Instead these compromised accts are held hostage and send messages to those who are on the friends list for weeks on end.
Edit: ok so my ssuspicionon it was a token session hijack.
I found the discord emails associated with changing the email. So this guy was able to spoof my gmail token to gain access. Nuking my pc aND changing my gmail email pretty much saved my rear. Although it took the benter part of 3 hours to get up and running again. It was worth changing passwords associated and checking my 2FA on Google for good measure.

Avis The same thing happened to me 9 days ago. They managed to grab my token and email, but I was able to recover my email fairly quickly. I got unlucky with my Discord account though, they changed my email and password on the account and most likely have changed my phone number and 2FA by now considering you can access backup 2FA codes just by getting a code from your email. They made a new account under my email and I can't even get on the account to delete it because they also added 2FA to that account. It's been nine days and no response, I don't know what I can provide as proof of my ownership of the account besides emails of them changing my info and the email receipt for nitro. It's honestly it's stupid how easily they can change account information.
