Auto-Centering on Channel Side Bar is Overcompensating on Large Servers

as of 10/15/21,

I have a particularly large discord server, and whenever you click on one of the channels within that server, typically it would just highlight and center a bit if it's too high or low from what you actually have visible in the scroll.

I noticed with larger servers though, and really only with them, this centering feature (just as of the most recent update) is over-compensating on larger servers and whenever I click a channel that isn't at the very top, it rubber bands my view a good 10-20 channels up.

In order to replicate it, you just need a server with enough channels that you have to scroll between them all, the more you have, the worse the over-compensating-alignment is.

  I'm experiencing this too. It also happens when I use the bar that says "unread messages" to send me to the channel with unreads.
