Security Feature to help protect accounts against Token Scam

As most of us probably know by now there is an increasing amount of scams going on on discord for quite some time and just yesterday someone i know fell for it. His account token was taken and the hacker changed the email. And without it, he couldn't request a password reset so the account is forever lost.

This would've been prevented if changing one's email required a 2FA code input. And he would've been able to recover the account because to my knowledge, resetting a password invalidates the token and terminates all login sessions.

I believe this would make accounts much safer.

  Yes, it does terminates all login sessions and the token itself. This would make Discord much safer.

  Maybe discord can have a hotline or live chat aswell
