App crashing after Android 12 update
Pixel 5, Android 12 build SP1A.210812.015, Discord version 98.6 (stable 98006). Troubleshooting done: Discord: clear cache, data, reinstall. Android: disable/re-enable Android System WebView, reboot phone. Toggling System WebView seems to have the best results, but they are short lived. Maybe a few hours. Changing anything Discord related helps for maybe only a few minutes. Issue seems tied to animations or gifs. The issue is most easily recreated on a channel with a gif present. Any time you slide the Discord panels out for navigation the elements begin to shift and shake, the app becomes responsive then either Discord, the System UI, or both, crash. I've uploaded debug logs as of 9:24am this morning.
Update: confirmed in my case that disabling gif autoplay in accessibility settings has fixed the issue.

Still seems to be happening after the latest update.

I found that disabling GIF autoplay in the accessibility settings has stopped the issue from happening.

Cheers I'll give it a crack. I'm part of a few servers with heavy gif usage and it's driving me crazy with the frequency of the crashing.

I'm also having this bug occur on Android 12 on my Pixel 4. Disabling auto-play for Gifs fixes this. If this is happening only on Pixels, Discord should contact Google and work with them for a proper fix.
