Mobile Phone Verification

So now Discord is forcing users to add a mobile number however I do not wish to share details with anyone like this. I finally give in to add the mobile and then removed it thinking all was good. I get immediately booted back out to the same process requesting to add a mobile phone number. This is highly ridiculous and a form of force that discord is imposing on its users. I submitted a ticket and still have not been responded to yet I have even tried to message them on Facebook slash Twitter and I'm still waiting for a response highly unprofessional I think it's time to find a new chat program!
