Account Hacked and Discord Neglecting Me

I unfortunately fell victim to a dangerous download containing a .exe which was used to steal my Discord token. I have emailed and messaged Discord on Twitter about the matter with no response. Discord have time to respond to other people who tweeted them after I did, but they don't have the time to respond to me? The account's email address and password has been changed, the account has been used to purchase nitro with my PayPal account because it was linked to my Discord account, and the account's data is slowly being wiped.

This is damn right negligence, and this is really annoying me that Discord can't even respond to me about the matter. I am getting that annoyed that I've been thinking and searching about suing the company for their negligence due to the financial issues I am suffering as a result.

I think Discord's responses regarding hacked accounts are way too slow, and they'd rather deal with the problem once the account has been totally ruined rather than before. I am beginning to think Discord are helping these lowlife hackers rather than preventing them, which upsets me and probably a lot of other people who uses Discord on a day-to-day basis.

The worst thing is, the account had two-factor authentication and the hacker somehow still found a way to change the email address and password, which proves that Discord's two-factor authentication system isn't as secure as people may think it is if hackers are easily able to bypass it. I think Discord should send a confirmation email to the original email address of the account before changing the account's email address to verify it is the owner of the account requesting the change.

I really hope this gets sorted before real harm is done to my Discord account, PayPal account and bank account.

Thanks for the response, I am sorry you have also fell victim to this. I have upvoted your suggestion indeed, it's definitely something that needs to be implemented to make Discord a securer place for all.
