Password Protected Chats

I've used discord for a long time now, made a lot of friends and even developed relationships where conversations have gotten a bit spicy. I also play with a lot of irl friends which means at times they do have access to my computer and hence my messages in discord. I'm just honestly surprised that a way to password protect chats hasn't been implemented sooner
