디스코드 서버 프로필 변경

지난 업데이트로 인한 서버 프로필 변경에 대한 이야기입니다.

저는 현재 여러 커뮤니티 서버를 운영중입니다.

이 서버들을 운영할 때 각자의 이름을 정해주거나 각자가 원하는 이름을 지급해주곤 합니다

하지만 지난 업데이트로 인한 서버 프로필 변경 창에 들어간 후에 서버 이름을 바뀌게 될 시에 저희가 지급해준 이름과 다른 이름으로 변경이 가능합니다.

이 변경은 권력과 권한을 이용해서 막을 수 없습니다.

이런 일로 인해서 지난 번에 타인을 따라하며 그 사람의 신분으로 성매매, 사기 등등의 범죄를 저지 사람이 서버에 들어와서 애를 먹었습니다.

이렇게 서버 프로필 변경이라는 옵션이 생길 경우에 서버 권한 설정에 있는 닉네임 변경하기 권한을 넣은 의미가 없습니다.

사람들에게 좋은 기능을 주는 것은 좋지만, 이렇게 커뮤니티 서버를 운영하는 입장에선 이런 기능이 범죄로 많이 이어가는 모습을 보니 이 기능이 사라졌으면 합니다.

저 외에도 주변 서버 및 지인들에게도 이런 기능으로 인한 사고를 많이 들었으며

이번에 저희 서버 측에서 또 사고가 생겼기 때문에 이 글을 남깁니다.
