Invalid Phone Number
Ok, first of, I was chilling in Discord (as usual) one day, as I closed Discord and opened it the next day, there was this pop-up screen that said ''something out of the ordinary is going on here'' and that ''you would need to verify your phone number to continue.'' Yes, yes, just verify my phone number, it's that simple.. right? No, when I first registered a Discord account long ago, there was this issue where I couldn't verify my phone number due to an error which always would say that my phone number is ''invalid'' whenever I tried to verify it. I contacted Discord's support via email many times (possibly more than 10) and none of them helped. Before I get into them, I just want to say that my phone number is not a VOIP, Burner/Prepaid or Landline number. It's a regular mobile number. And yes, I always check whether I entered my phone number and country code correctly every time. And also nope, I have never tried verifying my phone number on an alt account or on my friends' account. I think that it's probably a timeout even though the errors are not because of those above, so I did some research and found out that the timeout is around 14-30 days usually for everyone despite Discord's support saying ''short period'' but nevermind, I waited and tried again but still failed; same error. Worst of all is that I OWN a server which I have to manage and I can't do anything now because of the bad moderation and support system. My most recent email in which I wrote everything describing my issue was 1 month ago, sucks right? And the same thing, they always stop at the part where one of the support teams' members replies ''I just wanted to let you know that I'll be escalating this ticket to a team member to look into further. I genuinely apologize for the inconvenience in the meantime and will keep you updated here as soon as I hear back!'' and no matter how much I reply after, they never reply back. I even tested writing support emails with other emails and they received a reply, which shows that they didn't even care and tried to help my issue and continue with others. If Discord's support team reads this, please help me follow up on my ticket (17590820) though the chances are low.

Probably just give up. You can't do anything about it. Discord's support sucks and thats all

I'm actually having the exact same issue. I entered my number assuming it was the right account, and essentially the number was switched. When I tried to reset it on my original account, I got a text that said "An existing Discord account is already using this number. Please remove it before it can be used with a new account."
So, I find the account using my phone number as a lookup (somehow using an old email I don't even use, and the same username as my real account with different numbers), get access to the fake account, and remove the number.
Then I get an email sent to my old email address saying "my" account was DELETED for "going against community standards" even though I've never even seen the account before.
So, I try to set the number up on my reap account, and now it says "invalid number" and I can't message half the servers I use.
Discord, seriously?

Me too I have been trying to use discord for months and constantly get this error. Discord truly sucks.

When it comes to phone verification. You can't do anything about it. Discord's support is very weak when it comes to troubleshooting. There is no way around this.-1 -

The same thing happened to me... Then I tried many things for about 5 days then I tried to use a TEMP NUMBER and it worked ... Idk just try it ..but temp no: isn't allowed in discord I guess

Yeah me too, I already bought a SIM card with valid phone number from Maroc Telecom store, but it says "Please use a valid phone number, not a VoIP or a landline number", how do I fix this!?
