I love Discord. I really do. It is one of the few companies that I trust because it feels like you genuinely care about your users.

The support for NFTs and cryptocurrency feel like a leap backwards in that regard. There are many people here voicing the same as me because they also care for this platform, and they know that this move will lead Discord down a dark path, where many will leave and the ones who stay won't be the users who make Discord a good place to be.

I don't want to leave Discord. I love Discord. But if this decision really goes through, I can't support it any longer. There are other platforms that have some features I wish Discord had, and the only thing that has stopped me from switching over is because of the trust I have in Discord.

Please don't do this.

    Yo, mind sharing some of those platforms?

    If discord goes on with this bullshit I'm leaving no doubts

    I won't share the names of the other platforms here on Discord's support forums because I still respect Discord and have hope that they will listen to this community backlash and not implement these features.
