Discord's Involvement with Cryptocurrency

I've used discord for many years now. I've been a nitro user for a while. I have no problem with a discord aiming to make a bit of money for its services.

However.

There are countless studies with irrefutable evidence of the horrifying environmental impact of cryptocurrency.

We are in the middle of a climate crisis- an awful environmental disaster- and contributing to it is absolutely morally bankrupt. I don't mean to be rude or harass you or anything, but this move is an absolutely terrible idea. I can guarantee you that if you move forward with it, i will NOT be supporting your company any longer, and i know there are thousands of others like me. You will absolutely lose money. We will be canceling our Nitro subscriptions.

I don't know how much anyone who reads this cares. But i cannot believe this company which owes so much of its popularity to a global pandemic is making such an immoral, awful move, especially at a time like this.

Please rethink this.
