NO CRYPTO NO NFTS

Listen, I understand that a big part of your marketing strategy and audience are people who are interested in the ways that computers can provide community. That's your whole audience, actually. The problem is, NFTs are not that. They are actually a way to falsely stratify "ownership" something that should be at least widely shared and enjoyed, and at best a way to support artists and connect people with similar interests and aesthetic tastes: digital art--as well as other parts of the internet. What's more, they're destructive to the environment because of the massive amount of energy the blockchain consumes. And no matter how online you might be, you need breathable air and a tolerable climate in order to maintain your business, not to mention your ethical reputation. Do not integrate NFTs, cryptocurrency, or any form of the blockchain into Discord.
