Don't do this. I want a planet to live on when I turn 50, and Discord going down this route would not help that.

If Discord as a company cares about decentralization, take a look into federation! You get some neat benefits without any of the forced scarcity or killing of the environment!

    Commenting to help boost this. Discord needs to know that this is not what the userbase wants. To everyone else reading, cancel your Nitro subscription if you have one. Do NOT give your money to a company who is actively choosing to destroy our planet.
