Do NOT implement NFTs/blockchains on Discord

In light of COP26, putting in place NFT integration is counter-intuitive to the entire movement and incredibly detrimental to the environment. I cannot stress this enough. One NFT transaction is the equivalent of 56 days worth of daily electrical usage in an average American household. If you think that NFTs are at all beneficial, you are gravely mistaken and short-sighted. If the NFT integration or any type of cryptocurrency gets implemented, I cannot in good consciousness continue using discord. I will be actively sharing with my friends to find a different platform to spend their money on.
