Why I don't want NFT's in Discord

Discord has always been a fun site, and one of the havens where I can discuss topics that interest me to my hearts content. However, Discord is planning to roll out NFT and Crypto integration into their business model. This upsets me greatly, as NFT's are dangerous to our greater environment. Imagine living in a destroyed wasteland all because you bought a digital copy of the Mona Lisa online using Crypto. Not only that, but it's clear that everyone involved in this NFT bandwagon are most likely being scammed, and sooner or later, this scam will collapse, and no one will win. 
So if Discord goes out with NFTs, they will not only be contributing to the continued destruction of our environment, but they will most likely be victims of a massive scam targeting nearly everyone. This is why I think Discord should not go through with NFT integration, so that our environment can be protected for generations to come.
