I really enjoy the discord experience; it’s allowed me to make and keep in touch with friends from all over. However, myself and my friends can’t abide by the potential shift towards NFTs and cryptocurrency. It’s harmful towards the environment and the service itself. If Discord implements anything to do with NFTs or cryptocurrency, I can say with certainty that many of us will jump ship to other services, and we’ll go back to that dark time when everyone was split between about 5 different messaging services and none of them were really built for anything but business. I don’t want to see something so integral to the way I communicate with friends go down like this. Do not integrate crypto or NFTs.
