Protip: Do as John Romero did with NFTs
Alright kids, I'm gonna tell you something about John Romero and his involvement with NFTs.
Before that, who is John Romero? To keep things as short as possible, one of the most important people in the history of FPS games, that's who. He was involved in this little game you may have heard of called Doom and he's one of the many reasons why FPS games are so popular today, going as far as being the man credited for coining the word Deathmatch.
Now, what was John Romero's involvement with NFTs? Back in September of this year Romero announced on his Twitter (In a now deleted tweet) that he would be doing a special AMA for the Animetas community, one that you could only participate in if you owned or rented specific NFTs. By this point, a lotta people were already aware of how harmful even the mere presence of NFTs have been, ranging from art theft to even bigger scams, so naturally many of his fans were not happy and were trying to get him to reconsider, bringing up the real nature of NFTs. Roughly 2-3 hours later, he tweeted the following.
"Hey everyone. I heard you loud and clear. Thank you."
The man realized just how harmful NFTs really are and all it took was the voices of his fans. (Although for the sake of full disclosure, he still participated in the AMA. By the time he had learned the facts, the event was less than an hour away and he had already given his word he'd be there)
And with that, a word for the Discord staff: Do as the legend did and walk away while you still can

I don't know who John Romero is or why he's famous but it's always good to see people listening to their user/fan base
