Do not add Crypto or NFT integration, do not create Discord NFTs

Title. Adding any kind of integration with cryptocurrency (which has well-documented and not debatable devastating effects on carbon pollution) is not only unacceptable, but grossly negligent to the planet at best. I will cancel my Nitro subscriptions if crypto integration is added or Discord NFTs are created.

    It's a good idea to cancel your Nitro subscription now before it renews. Let them know that you don't approve of them supporting this money-laundering and environment-destroying scam.

    You have a great point. I've done so.

    Discord, I've been an early supporter Nitro Subscriber since June of 2017, that's over four years of subscribing to your service. That streak ends in mere days if you do not reverse course. Any kind of integration with or support for the ecological disaster that is cryptocurrency is a line you must not cross.

    Thanks for letting us know you have no current plans to integrate crypto into Discord, but it is not enough for me and the countless others who use Discord. Give us definitive, absolute confirmation you are never adding crypto integration to Discord and are never creating Discord NFTs, or you're also never getting a penny from me again.
