Christ, why. Good lord. NFTs are a transparently stupid fad, they're terrible for the environment, they provide virtually nothing in the realm of value added for their owners (except for scammers!) and the only (and obvious) conclusion is that discord is excited to jump on the scam train in an attempt to cash in. I was just getting used to my nitro privileges and convincing myself to leave it in place long term, but even beyond the ethics perspective, I would be too embarrassed to openly support anyone who's even pretending like NFTs are a worthwhile direction to take their business.
