Against NFT/cryptocurrency support on Discord

NFTs and cryptocurrency supported by bitcoin/block chains, even done more "responsibly in the future" are ridiculously wasteful and harmful the environment and I would expect a platform like Discord to be leading the way against this kind of damage, not buying in. I will not buy a Nitro sub until these decisions are reversed and depending on how this is handled may leave entirely. I don't wish to do so as I have several communities I connect with via only this platform, as do many others. Don't make them choose between our planet and doing it harm versus their online communities.
