NFT/Crypto Integration

Discord is a voice and text chat app designed around gaming and game communities. I have no idea who thought it needed cryptocurrency and NFT integration. Not only is this enraging many of your highly-active users, not only is it bad for the environment, it's completely pointless. Communities built around cryptocurrency and NFTs can use discord, sure, but there's no need for tool integration. It's not like it's a game platform that should be integrated, or even a streaming service, it's somewhere between a pyramid scheme and a financial tool. What are people going to do, brag about their Ethereum wallets and show proof of how much they have? Trade currency? You're running into a host of technical and regulatory issues for what?

This isn't going to have the effect you think it will. I would strongly advise you to reconsider this course of action before your brand is irreparably harmed, though it might be too late for that already.
