Will not renew Nitro until Discord promises to drop Cryptocurrency/Non-Fungible Token support.

I have cancelled my Nitro subscription and will not be renewing it until Discord drops all support for Non-Fungible Tokens and other cryptocurrencies. NFTs and cryptocurrencies are a currently unregulated market where the primary financial gain comes from value speculation, not an evaluation of the material value of the asset. Beyond just this, cryptocurrencies have seen use from criminal organizations and tax-evading, money laundering billionaires alike. Add on top of this the fact that key figures in the Crypto market can just send a tweet about a specific cryptocurrency and affect its value either positively or negatively, and it starts looking like NFTs and Crypto is just a scam.

I do not want Discord associated with NFTs or Cryptocurrency because it's the main instant messaging service I use to connect with my close friends and family. I don't want them to fall into the trap of investing in a cryptocurrency or NFT and ending up scammed and in debt. Discord should not be exposing its userbase to manipulative, exploitative things like this.
