Pausing Account Deletion When Hack Claim is Made

When my account was hacked, and discord took over a month to respond to me while I was mid conversation with an agent, my account was deleted. I feel like what should be done is that, when an account has a hacking claim on it, deletion requests should be paused until the claim is sorted. For further clarification, I was talking to a member of the support team, then they stopped messaging me for a month, despite me sending emails to ask how the process was going, during which my account was deleted by the hacker, then discord finally messaged me back telling me that I couldn't get my account back due it being deleted, with no compensation or anything for their mistake.
