Ability to mark friend requests as read

So, I'm not sure about others, but I like to keep my discord clean and free from pings. And while I know friend requests can just be accepted or denied, should be simple. But one gives you a notification that "Hey user has accepted your request" and the other just disappears, but people would see that the friend request pending is gone. I personally would love to mark friend requests as read and leave them there if I am unsure whether or not I'd want to accept them or not.

This most certainly doesn't *need* to be a thing, but I think it'd be cool so the "1" indicator (or more) aren't lingering there.

    Agreed, after being made aware of a friend request, I would rather let it sit until I have decided.

    I don't know if commenting will help it be noticed again but I'd like to see if this feature would be considered. I find it rather frustrating being unable to mark friend requests as read and let them sit there rather than denying / accepting to get rid of the ping. I like to keep my discord clean of pings as much as possible.
