[Suggestion] Increase time taken before account gets wiped and unrecoverable after being disabled by Discord.
I don't know if this would help at all, and I don't know exactly how this works behind closed doors since i'm not an employee, but hear me out.
I've lurked the feedback for a while, and i've seen posts which complain of the trust and safety team not responding for days on end, when disabled accounts get wiped after 14 (to 30? not sure.) days permanently. This, of course, makes some people anxious because of how backed up the ticket queue is. Like I said, i'm not sure how this works. Are accounts held even if it takes trust and safety more than 14 days to respond? I don't know, which is why i'm suggesting this.
If the ticket queue is so backed up, why not increase the days before a disabled account is wiped to 30 days or more, right? Not everyone who has their account disabled is a rule breaker, but for sure some are. I'd assume people trying to appeal WANT their accounts back, and want their appeal to be considered. Referring to above, I don't know if accounts are held after 14 days or no response or gone forever, so this whole post could be for nothing, but it's worth a shot.
Thank you for reading if you see this.
