Discords automated ban appeals.

Dear Discord,

My account has been disabled, soon to be terminated for the following: threats to others participated in targeted harassment, incited violence against individuals or communities, or was involved in a server dedicated to these behaviors.

After which I contacted your support system and received a response from Clyde in ticket 18291496. His response was simply, your account was disabled for violating our Terms of Service or Community Guidelines. We will not reinstate the account.

I found this rather poor on your half as it only took me 12 hours to crack down on what actually happened. Someone by the name of Abiy Ahmad Ali 2 owned a random server known as ‘gringos’ I believe. He randomly invited me and as DISCORD doesn’t have protection against hate servers I joined as if it was a normal server, never looking it again.

Within a week or so one of his friends told me the server got deleted for ‘hate crimes’ and YOUR GENERALISED BANNING METHODS have mixed me for something I simply didn’t do, leading to his ban (justified) and my ban (unjustified) wasn’t participating I just witnessed as I had no clue what was going on.

I spend day in day out on discord, I have friends who I simply can’t regain as they are important and doesn’t open up on that account. I was heartbroken when I logged on and within 4 minutes I was gone.

Further evidence is I have 3 warnings on my account for ‘theft’? Yet again I was randomly invited to these servers AS DISCORD DOESNT PROVIDE A SAFE BOT PROTECTION SERVICE.

Ultimately I am not to blame, generalising bans is the reason I’m in this situation, you can’t compare ‘threats’ and ‘harassment’ to simply being invited to a server without knowledge of it being toxic.

To conclude I hope you can see my side and see it in you to revoke my warnings and account ban. I am innocent and in future will not randomly join who I think are my friends.

PS​​ I wrote another appeal since this and received yet another automated response from your robot which denied it.

ONCE AGAIN TO CLEAR UP, I HAVE RECEIVED 3 WARNINGS BECAUSE DISCORD DOESN'T PROTECT AGAINST RANDOM BOTS INVITING YOU TO RANDOM SERVERS - WHICH I JOIN BECAUSE I'M BORED BUT DON'T PARTICIPATE.

THE FINAL REASON FOR MY DISABLED ACCOUNT - PENDING DELETION IS BECAUSE SOMEONE CALLED ABIY AHMAD DID THE EXACT SAME THING AND HIS SERVER GOT DELETED, BECAUSE THIS IS MY FOURTH WARNING DISCORD IS TERMINATING ME EVEN THOUGH I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG.
