My friend out by phone verification, discord support ignoring requests.

So one day, discord decided it’d be a good idea to make my friend do a verification with his phone number. Surprise surprise, his perfectly legitimate iPhone phone number doesn’t work at all, and Discord says it’s invalid. So we contact discord support, and they’re asking questions like do you have a screenshot, what’s the issue, etc. and then their last message was this:

“Thanks for the screenshot. I just wanted to let you know that I'll be escalating this ticket to a team member to look into further. I genuinely apologize for the inconvenience in the meantime and will keep you updated here as soon as I hear back!”

and we never heard from them again. We sent other requests, ignored. I tried from my other email and they said that I had to use the email associated with the account to make a ticket. I went back to that email, made another ticket, and guess what? Ignored.

    I am having a similar issue. Someone obviously tried to use my phone number, or entered theirs 1 digit off and entered mine. It is utter insanity to allow someone ELSE to add MY phone number to their account when it is already attached to mine!!!!
