Discord's Events Functionality Needs Improvements (Timezones and Reminders)

Hello! I tried contacting Discord and they may have misunderstood my question.

I have a server that have events in Japan time zone and many players are in different parts of the world. I did not want to put in the start and end times in EST time zone because the events' descriptions already have their JPN times ready so I do not want to deal with converting time zones. I used Reminder Bot to change the time zone to JPN (only for user that triggers the command, NOT the whole server sadly) and set events in that time zone as well. It would be nice if it is possible for Discord's functionality to have the features.

It would be really nice if we have..

- Option to set a timezone when creating an event instead of using local timezone of a user with Manage Events permissions.

- Have a reminder(s) show up before the event starts and ends. (Example: 1 hour before the event starts!)
