NSFW gateway and arbitrary designations

okay, had my doubts about discord as a whole, and reading the updated TOS documentation regarding NSFW related doesn't instil me with confidence.
while i understand the value of it, what doesn't sit right with me is the the hardware staffers of discord can arbitrarily assign NSFW blocks and gateways, and that is further compounded for apple/iOS users, they get blocked full stop according to the readme.
maybe i'm overthinking it, but it would be really swell if the server page owners are consulted prior to any arbitrary outside influenced changes made to their pages.
PS:
i was wary of using discord to begin with, and after what i've seen recently with the nuking of users and their pages, my confirmation bias radar is pinging like no tomorrow.
there need to be absolute transparency regarding EVERY action taken by the hardware staffers.
