Allow resizable/collapsing of channel pane and users pane

When trying to use the application in a mixed layout mode on Windows 11 (hover the maximize button to see what I mean) the Discord application does not abide by this layout as the channel and user panes are not resizable and cannot be collapsed.

I would prefer to collapse the users pane and size down the channel pane in this scenario. Currently as far as I can tell the desktop app does not allow this at all.

This scenario is very useful on my Surface Pro tablet as I only use it for text collaboration with my subscribed servers on this device.

    I still cannot believe this isn't a feature. I desperately want this. I use a window manager that tiles and displays everything just fine, except for discord. The channel/user list uses a disgusting amount of space.

    What is the point of IRC compact mode in the message area when the channel list is going to take most of the screen real estate.

    My current workaround: use the web browser app instead of the desktop app, and write a small tampermonkey script to collapse the pane myself.
