QoL and Security options ideas

I know this one has been asked about for many years, but the ability to turn off direct pings for an individual user would be huge. Servers with well known content creators, especially ones that have a younger follower base, are prone to spam pings. Many other individuals do not like to be pinged either, but the option at least through the server settings to disable it for certain members would be amazing, and a big relief to server moderators.

Also another issue that is rampant are the scam discord nitro links. Server admins can turn off embeds for links but being able to disable links in general would be able to stop most of these attacks, depending on how a server is set up. I have noticed most hacked accounts in the servers I am active in are people who never talk, or very rarely do, so disabling links for the @everyone role, or any roles a server admin wishes, would help this plague.

    discord refuses to do anything regarding nitro scams. the fact it still goes on in spite of all the complaints means that discord is just as guilty as the hackers and scammers, and should be held liable as an accomplice.
