Can't @ a role in my threads

I am unable to @ a role in threads.

The role has permissions in the channel and everyone is allowed to @ the role. I can @ a different role that has almost all the same permissions, but it just won't let me @ it.

Any ideas why i can't @ it?

This was working fine 2 days ago, and yesterday it stopped working. No changes to any of the roles. Created a new thread and just couldn't @ it.

It gives no error. It just will not post it. It gives me the option to delete the message or resend. And resending does not work.
