How do I stop Discord from running at startup when it has been instructed not to do so?

What the title says.  Turning the setting off does nothing.  Uninstalling/reinstalling does nothing.  It's not listed in startup items.  Why is this software so messed up?

    You can force any application to no longer run at startup by going to Settings > Apps > Startup > Turn off Discord. As far as I know, this method works on both Windows 11 and 10.
