[Suggestion] Background Image by channel

Hello !


I think a good feature to add and to improve the "quite boring" plain background color would be the option to add a different background image for each channel.


This would be an admin-only feature that (maybe) would be only available for level 2+ boosted servers, so it would mean an huge new feature and so more profits for you :-)
I have never used any discordapp mod, but I know this is a feature that is catching the eye of many users.

Pros :

- more customization

- new nitro-boosted servers reward

- more understanding of the channel's purpose

- make less errors of "typing in the wrong channel"

 

Cons :

- accessibility and readability issues

       solutions : blurring the image, add a fixed transparency, or an accesssibility feature on client-side (each user) to toggle enable/disable the display of background images.

 

- image downloading and internet trafic limited users

       solutions : set a max resolution of these images, limit the display of images (to the right side of browser/desktop app, this will also permit the full display and the format consistency on mobile-users), or use the the solution of the upper issue with an accessibility button to toggle the feature.

 

Please concider this very esthetic and ergonimic feature for your community, this will be a great present for us !
