Someone else said it looked like "modern day comic sans" and I agree. It's so childish! Just what we needed with all the discord pedo scandals a while back.

I don't think they over-simplified it, if anything it looks like they made it more difficult to look at. Adding brighter colors, more colors, dusty white pings, adding obnoxious reaction borders...

I don't see anything wrong with users expresses their dislike directly to Discord for what may become a permanent change if people stay silent or speak elsewhere where Discord can't see it.

Exactly! Reactions are meant to be a subtle addition to someone else's message. Now it just screams at me from the page and draws my eye sight.
