This article will help you contact Discord Safety if you don’t have a Discord account.
For reports of violations of our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service, using this form, you'll select the type of abuse that you’re reporting.
You will need to provide a Message Link of the violating content.
To get the Message Link on iOS, hold down on the Message, then select “Copy Message Link.”
On Android, hold down on the Message, then select “Share,” then select “Copy to Clipboard.”
On desktop, “right-click” on the Message, and select “Copy Message Link.”
Make sure the Message Link is formatted like this:
From a DM: https://discordapp.com/channels/@me/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
From a server: https://discordapp.com/channels/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
If you are the parent of a Discord user, use this form, and select “Appeals, age update, other questions” in the “How can we help?” response dropdown list, and “I’m the parent or guardian of a user.” You may then provide a description of the issue that you and your teen are having.
We also recommend that you check out our Parents and Educators section in our Safety Center, which contains useful information about how to help your teen stay safer on Discord.
If you have a Discord account, you can report violations of our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service right in the app. Check out this article to learn more about how to submit an in app report.
Do not mislead Discord’s support teams. Do not make false or malicious reports to our Trust & Safety or other customer support teams, send multiple reports about the same issue, or ask a group of users to report the same content or issue. Repeated violations of this guideline may result in loss of access to our reporting functions.
What Happens After I Submit a Report?
When we become aware of content that violates our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service, our Safety team reviews and takes the necessary enforcement actions, including: disabling accounts, removing servers, and when appropriate, engaging with the proper authorities. We may not review your report manually or respond to you directly, but we’ll use your report to improve Discord.
You can read more about the reports we receive and the actions we take on violations of our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service in our quarterly Transparency Report.
