We require all users to meet the minimum age requirement for their region. If you meet that requirement and have been locked out of Discord, you can appeal your banned account by following the instructions below.

How to Confirm Your Age Group to Unlock Your Account

1. Log in to your locked Discord account.
2. Locate your Active Violations and open the Minimum Age Requirements violation card.

3. Press “Confirm you meet the minimum age requirement in your region” to start the appeal process.

4. From here you’d choose a method to confirm your age group from the options and follow the detailed instructions here. What options are actually available to you depends on factors such as your region or device, so the options you see may not be the same for everyone.

5. If we determine you do meet the minimum age requirement in your region (which is typically processed within seconds), you’ll see "You’re all set" at the top of your Active Violations screen, and you can now log back into your account as your access should be fully restored.
