Do you guys think they could've kept the account?

This happened some time ago.
I had a friend who turned 13 but had an account that was made when they were underage, but they made a new account out of fear of being suspended by Discord. Do you guys think they would've been able to stay in the old account, or would they've had to create a new account regardless?

  More than likely their account would have been fine to use
