Discord suck at account recovery
The way this stuff currently works is that you need to access the original email account to be able to get ANY help at all. Why?
My email account that counts as the original email for the Discord account has been permanently suspended by the Microsoft Fraud team after detecting activity that was not mine, and it will be like that indefinitely.
When I contact Discord support, all I get is "contact your domain's email support in order to regain access to your inbox; afterward, you can write in a request from there."... Yeah no, I do not think Microsoft will let this account be opened again.
They explain it with "we can only discuss account details with someone who contacts us from the email address associated with that Discord account to protect our users' privacy and security."
To protect users' privacy and security? Bullsh*t! There are tons of ways to verify someone as the right owner. When my email (the original one) got taken away from me, I lost full access/some access to a few sites like Twitch, Spotify, Riot Games and some other stuff. I have gotten all those back now, it's literally only Discord being the problem. And here I thought Twitch had the worst support on the internet? No, they ask questions only one person can answer. I was asked to give username, IPv4 address, DoB, email address associated with the account, phone number and invoice ID for a purchase made on the site. Riot Games asked something similar, but that was a form I had to fill in from the start and with no support interaction in the end really. But still, it worked.
Why can't Discord be the same?

Ye i agree we need a way to change the email without code verification with just password or some information
