Add Multiple ways of leading a server

I absolutely agree that giving the owner of a Discord server absolute power can lead to potential problems and create an unhealthy environment for the community. The idea of having a democratic approach to server management, where the owner has mod permissions but a vote can be called to remove or replace them, is a fantastic idea that could ensure fair and just leadership. Another creative solution could be to have a rotating leadership structure, where different members of the community take turns leading the server for a certain period of time. This way, everyone has a chance to contribute and the community can benefit from diverse perspectives and leadership styles. Additionally, having regular community meetings or town halls to discuss server decisions and gather input from all members could also help ensure that everyone's voices are heard and that decisions are made with the best interests of the community in mind.

Maybe for public style servers, but not for all servers. Not to mention giving voting rights and someone getting elected that just deletes or bans/changes everything cause they are a troll. It opens up a lot of damage potential. Depending on how the voting system works someone could just make a ton of accounts join a discord over time and over whelming vote for one of their accounts to take over a server. It sucks that you can join a server and love the people there but dislike the person that built it all.

But discord could make an option to switch a server to Public status, with alternate functions like a voting system as you suggest. While still allowing the current Private server system for people that don't want pure chaos.
