Discord account stolen, support not acting
The usual issue. My question is, is it possible that because my email is not changed support will refuse to remove the attacker's 2FA? The situation was as follows:
- Account got hacked
- Attacker changed the 2FA, but not the email
- They tried to purchase nitro with an already blocked cc, thus locking the account(it requires email verification, but it was still bound to my own email so he could not verify it himself NOR change the email)
- Right now I have been waiting for 17 days for an answer and have nothing. If I try and submit new tickets they just get merged into the original one.
Has anyone experienced this? Been over this or a similar issue? Any advice will be appreciated.

They have enough resources and money for the unneeded and unwanted username change but still can't get trust and safety sorted. Welcome to discord my friend

Ah yes, I suppose they got a new 3rd party to provide the support and they just kinda suck at their job. Very common with outsourcing companies. Worst of all is, I have been a looong time user(April 2016) and the account has a lot of sentimental value to me, that’s all. I hope I can get it back even if it takes a month or so. Do you know if they eventually reply after some X period of time or do they just leave tickets like that?

Sometimes takes around 4 week sometimes they don't reply at all

At all,?? That would be very very bad. I hope discord HQ does something about this problem. From what I gather it has only been going on for a few months, right?

Its gotten worse over time.
When i entered discord and they still had a relatively small userbase this was all still working perfectly fine. But as the amount of users grew, so grew the problems on the platform.
More malware, scams, phishing and other issues. Got worse overtime.
At some point i decided to start filing tickets but it took longer and longer and even got me terminated because i ended up in the crossfire, which basically killed all my motivation of doing stuff voluntarily for discord.yes, i got my account back, but after that day i asked myself why i should even continue this

Same thing is happening to me.. They shown no sign of help at all and expect you to find your own way around it. it's very unfair to their community and i have reached out everywhere i could. Still 0 replies. it's been days. I'm honestly contemplating about quitting but i still have a lot of things on my account.

Hey, an update guys. 9 hours ago I got a reply. They reset my account. I am unsure if they did it due to my last ticket(it was sent to their privacy team with some bs about my information leaked) or not, but the account is back. Time take = 17 days
