This name change decision is unnecessary, damaging to privacy, and I find both the blithe manner in which it was decided to be entirely inappropriate. I’ve been paying you for a satisfying service for nearly 3 years now, you picked up a lot of users in the lockdowns. The moment I am forced to make this arbitrary and inappropriate change I will promptly cancel my subscription to your service. I encourage others to do likewise. Reverse this decision or start thinking about what kinds of job cuts you are comfortable with.

  +1. honestly i would cancel it now, that's what i did -- they need to see those numbers dwindle before they decide whether to actually roll it out or not.

  adamflux don't wait - cancel it now. You can always resub later if they walk it back. If you just SAY you might cancel, they won't care, because they probably won't read your message. But if you DO cancel, then they will pay attention and read your reasoning as to why. Don't wait. Drop nitro now.
