Change to Usernames is a Bad Idea

Hey! Discord! What is wrong with you? Discord is a messaging app, NOT social media. This new change is going in the completely wrong direction and is both unneeded and could be dangerous. Doing this would only make it easier for unwanted people to find your discord without the safety net of the 4 digits. Not only that, but almost no one wants this?? Because, again, Discord is not a social media, nor does it NEED to be like a social media platform. I have literally no clue why you people are even thinking about this but I'm not taking part in it. I'd rather delete my discord account than deal with the fallout from your foolishness and I'm for sure canceling Nitro until this is either resolved or my discord is dead. Hope you like the taste of lost money.

Good stuff, and good on you for canceling. Make sure to add your vote and comment to https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/14337329256983--Do-NOT-add-The-new-discord-usernames-system as well as making your own post! It's just a few votes from being on the first page when you sort the account and server management forum by most votes, and it's the second post if you sort by comments. Discord is willfully ignoring their userbase at this point if they think anybody still wants this.

Discord doesn't care about just one person having a subscription or not, you'd probably need all discord users with nitro to cancel it to have any effect honestly.
