The username update will take away user privacy.

So, not only can the people you block still see your account and status, but they can now harass you easier!

In my opinion, the ability to completely change username and become unrecognizable was one of the best anti-harassment features. When this update rolls people will have to spend hours finding a new username if in a situation that requires that. This update takes away one of Discords best privacy features. Do not roll this update out.

    +1. Also, can anyone tell me how long it takes to get a "pending approval" post through? I made a similar post but I'm guessing it got caught in a filter or something.

    A G Hopefully I'm tagging the right person, but consider that post in "pending approval purgatory" until the inevitable heat death of the universe. In my personal experience of dealing with that, the posts ultimately never go through, no matter how long you wait
