    Loss of simplicity and increased complexity: The new username system would create additional complexities and challenges for users. For instance, if the first person to choose a username, like "John," claims it, subsequent users would have to resort to various modifications such as "J0hn," "j0hn1," "john125," and so on. This would lead to an increase in less intuitive usernames like "xX_C0dSlay3r_Xx" as users struggle to find unique handles. Communicating such usernames to others would be more difficult than simply remembering a four-digit discriminator.
