HEY STANISLAV. I'd like your explanation please: why do you hate International Discord users?

Are you expecting everyone in aaaaaall of Asia and non-English speaking Europe and Africa who use Discord and are thrilled that their usernames can utilize their own writing systems to just accept this change? I think you'll be kissing a lot of those users goodbye.

    For SURE. I've heard that the Japanese Discord userbase is huge specifically because Discord allows non-english usernames. I don't know if that's TRUE, but if it is, discord is about to lose them all.

    Many Japanese MMO players use Discord, and I am a part of a community of players from a Chinese game where many of us have names that will now be removed as well. This is probably the most frustrating part of the update for me... There has been no response to the outcry in general but the fact that they have nothing to say about this specific issue is quite insensitive.

    In a Discord for a major mobile game I have seen people with Cyrillic and Arabic usernames as well, although I'm not familiar with everyone's online communities I imagine there are spaces where many people use their own language's writing system for their names.
